Really good trip as a first time solo traveller. As soon as the group met up at the airport we were so relaxed with each other you'd never realise we had all only just met. Really good to see the pyramids and sphinx - definately a highlight of the trip. Even the overnight train down to Aswan was a good experience seeing the countryside go by.  Be prepared for some very early mornings but after a couple of days you get used to it and don't even notice and it's good to get out and about before the heat of the day hits you. If you have a small hand held fan I would take it with you as especially in the Egyptian museum it gets really hot and humid but didn't detract from the amazing artifacts we saw. Definately a highlight seeing Tutenkhamun's golden mask and jewellery buried with him - so intricate.  Everything was so well organised and the tour leader ( Wael ) was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. To anyone thinking of this trip I would say 'just do it' you won't regret it!  Sailing down the Nile was also an experience not to be missed. (NFR - 2nd October 2010)

Highlights was definitely the incredible Pyramids of Giza and the Red Sea. Don’t forget to see the Dashur pyramids.  Felucca trip was great, relaxed and well planned with plenty of stops along the Nile bank. You got to know the people with you very well and it was a greater experience than being on one of the big cruise ships as you had more of a Nile experience. Swim in the Nile it was lovely!   Advice - hand sanitizer is a must, use it everywhere. Be wary of the locals wanting to show you a mini tour at sites or around town, even the tourist police - they will want money. Bargaining - Negotiate hard and walk away if you don’t get your price, it drives them crazy and they usually give in to get the sale. (NFR- 7th August 2010)
