What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?

Make sure to take the sunglasses with you.

 

Camel riding in the Sahara Desert before walking up a sand dune to watch the sun set; traversing the high passes and through narrow valleys in the High and Anti Atlas Mountain ranges; satellite spotting while staying at 5,000 feet in a village house; kwatching henna being sifted before being tattooed by a young girl following a pattern in her achool exercise book; having our feet swept clean by an Atlantic wave; mingling at Berber markets and haggling in Marrakech.  Good drivers; comfy minibuses and a knowledgeable tour leader.  Everywhere colours - clothes; spices and even freshly dyed skeins of wool drying from the rafters in the souk.   A warm sleeping bag and torch is essential for the village stay; be open minded about the plumbing - if both the shower works and the loo flushes, it's a bonus.  But Come!  A great trip to a fascinating country.
