What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?

Don't book it - the country is lovely but with the internal flight being unpredictable and only being made aware that it was cancelled 48hrs before leaving home did impact on how I felt about the holiday and it had a huge impact on the nature of the holiday - it's great to drive both ways, but if you are going to do that then the holiday needs to be longer to allow more time to see things.

The tour was changed at the last minute due to an internal flight not operating - I think it was, and still is, unlikely that such a flight was ever very likely, more of an aspiration than something that could be counted on. It would have been better to have advertised the holiday as a drive both ways and to have extended it by 2 or 3 days to provide more time for sightseeing - then if the flight did go ahead it would be a bonus...
