Central America has it all: ancient cultures, exotic wildlife, tropical beaches, verdant rainforest and imposing volcanoes. Read more about the wonderful and varied nations that make up this often overlooked region.

Explore Tour Leaders gain in-depth knowledge about the areas that they lead in. Although they guide Explore customers up mountains, through cities, into deserts and a whole lot more, some of them don’t get to travel much for themselves to experience other cultures and countries. With this in mind, and to reward some of our best leaders, we have introduced a Regional Awards Scheme.

Earlier this year a group of Tour Leaders from across the world visited the Explore offices in Hampshire for a week of training, and were in for a bit of a shock when it came to the first aid part of the course.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay’s ascent of Mount Everest on 29th May 1953, we have reduced the price of all our walking and trekking tours in Nepal by up to £100.
