Explore were one of the original pioneers of travel to Lebanon so we were thrilled to be be able to return to this beautiful country in 2009, following on from a period of unrest.

A diverse country

Even though Lebanon is tiny – smaller than Northern Ireland – it offers a deeply rich cultural, natural and archaeological milieu for exploration. The country has played a major role in world history as a crossroads of the Middle East and meeting place of ancient civilisations. Our tours to Lebanon

Our tours to the country visit many historic places from different millennia, following in the footsteps of Hannibal, Cleopatra and Richard the Lionheart. We are also able to walk in the remote and spectacular Qadisha Valley with its monasteries, forests and hidden villages. Furthermore, there are plenty of chances to experience the hospitality and friendliness of the Lebanese people.
