Explore's Trailwalker teams triumphed with 11 out of the original 16 starters completing the gruelling 100km walk, in atrocious weather this weekend.
With their thoughts turned to completing the challenge and raising much needed funds for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust, our 16 brave team members set out in the pouring rain on Saturday morning along the South Downs Way. Trying to push thoughts of being soaking wet, tired, hungry and sore out of their minds, they pushed on through the night towards the finish line. With only 5 dropping out due to injury along the way, out teams managed to get a staggering 11 people to the end, finishing at Brighton Race course early on Sunday afternoon.
Here is a summary of how each team did.
And if you are thinking 'phew - rather them than me'! please show your appreciation by sponsoring them at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/ExploresFour . Amount raised at the moment is about £6,600.
