Not only do shared experiences create lasting friendships, but the world is full of people just waiting to welcome you into their country and community.

Finding friendships all over the world

Many lifelong friendships have started on Explore adventures as you travel in smal groups, experiencing the wonders the world has to offer together. And it's not just those you travel with who'll impact your life, you'll meet local people, including local Tour Leaders, and get to know them as you immerse yourself in their culture and traditions.

It's the small groups

We've been told time and again that the small group aspect of our holidays is what makes them extra special. Take a look.

It’s the mixed groups Variety is what makes our groups unique. People of mixed ages, mixed interests and mixed nationalities from all over the world, all with one thing in common: a shared love of travel and adventure. You may be  travelling solo, with friends, a partner or your family - all are welcome on our adventures!

It’s simply the best Tour Leaders

Our Team of leaders are the glue that holds our tours together. They were voted, by customers, as the best in the Industry by a Holiday Which Magazine Report:

"… worldwide adventure specialist Explore had the highest proportion of customers who were very satisfied with their tour rep (sic) (86%), reflecting the vital guiding role of the tour rep (sic) in their small group escorted activity holidays."

Not only will they ensure a tour runs smoothly but they are passionate travellers who make our trips fun and inspiring. They also aim to give everyone memorable moments that you can share together:
Sunrise at Macchu Picchu,

  • A camel trek through Wadi Rum
  • Cycling through the vineyards of France
  • Sharing a meal with nomads in Mongolia
  • Trekking to see Gorillas in Uganda

It just doesn’t matter about age

We think we are all born with a sense of adventure and never lose it. Our groups usually have a great mix of ages with most travellers being 25-55. Different trips appeal to different age groups, but it's more important to be adventure minded than to fit an age bracket. It's not uncommon for lifelong friendships to be built on our trips -just read our Travel & Friendship blog to see for yourself!
