Following the sad news that seven of Explore’s customers were tragically involved in Friday’s plane crash in Kathmandu, Nepal, we offer our deepest condolences to all the friends and family who have been affected during this extremely difficult time.
It is with huge regret that we can confirm that one of our much loved tour leaders, Deepen Rai, was involved in this accident.
Deepen had been leading Explore tours in Nepal for many years and had won our Tour Leader of the Year award in 2009. He was an extremely popular leader with all our customers who travelled with him, and was regarded highly amongst all his colleagues in Nepal, and his Explore family in Farnborough.
