We recently announced the sad news that our much loved tour leader, Deepen Rai, was involved in a plane crash in Kathmandu, along with seven of our customers. In response to the huge volume of requests, we have set up a dedicated fund to support Deepen’s family.
Since making the announcement, we have received hundreds of messages of condolence and have been inundated with requests to set up a fund in Deepen’s memory, to support his wife and children.
This reflects our own feelings - Deepen was a highly respected and well loved tour leader who touched the lives of so many people.
Many of the messages we have received over the past few days have spoken of his kindness, knowledge and great sense of humour, as well as his huge love for his family. It has been touching to hear such great stories about one of our very best tour leaders, of whom so many of us knew and will always carry fond memories of.
