Our vessel, The Katharina, is an elegant wooden ‘Phinisi schooner’ constructed by hand using traditional Buginese shipbuilding methods. The vessels are typically used to transport cargo however Katharina has been transformed to accommodate small groups offering a unique chance to cruise this remote archipelago.

Along the way we visit the tiny island of Pulau Bungin where we meet the Bajao sea gypsies, spend time searching for remarkable Komodo Dragons and make the most of opportunities for swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters.
