Teens on Tour

The minimum age on most Explore Family Adventures is 5, but based on feedback from families with older kids we’ve designed a range of trips specifically with teenagers in mind. Imaginative, fun, challenging itineraries - and perhaps best of all other like-minded teenagers to share the experiences with. Learn to salsa in Cuba, cook a curry in Vietnam, canoe to the Angel Falls – the idea is to keep busy, push the boundaries, and have a lot of fun!

These trips are for 11+ year olds (“teens” used with poetic license) so older children won’t find the activities too soft, and there won’t be youngsters in the group cramping their style.

However if you’d like more holidays and destinations to choose from we also have some departures of our regular family holidays reserved exclusively for families with 11+ year olds: just look out for the T symbol on individual tour Prices / Dates pages
