When to Travel
For summer sun, September to March is the best time to visit, however temperatures are warm all through the year, with tropical breezes cooling the air near the coast.

LATINO RHYTHMS, ENCHANTMENT, AMAZON
Spanning half of South America, Brazil achieves a wonderful medley of vibrant colours, exotic flavours and Latino rhythms. Incredible wildlife lives side-by-side native tribes in the Amazonian rainforest and thick jungle parts to reveal the heaving Iguacú Falls. If that is not enough, enchanting colonial towns dot one of the most spectacular coastlines in the world.

Fun, colourful samba scenes, Carnival, the Amazon jungle, Iguacu Falls, fruity cocktails on paradise beaches – these are all images that often spring to mind when thinking of Brazil but nothing can beat the real experience of a trip to this charming country! Rio is picture perfect, especially from the Sugar Loaf mountain; there are even reclining chairs provided to enjoy the views of glamorous beaches such as iconic Copacabana and Ipanema, and sunsets. Nature and wildlife are a huge attraction with the wonderful wetlands of the Pantanal, Manaus and the dense jungle and waterways of the Amazon region and thundering Iguacu Falls. A scenic 4 hour trip south of Rio will take you to one of my favourite places, Paraty, with its cobbled streets, colonial buildings and mouth-watering restaurants. From here it is also easy to explore some of the hundreds of idyllic little islands that dot this stretch of coast. Try the fish stew and the delicious national cocktail – caipirinha!
