When to Travel

The Cambodian climate can be divided into three seasons: the cool, hot, and rainy season. The cool season from November to February is a good time to visit with comfortable temperatures for travelling. During the hot season from March to May temperatures can reach 40°C; the temples at Angkor, on their plateau, can feel particularly warm. The wet season runs from around June to October, but with rains usually only lasting an hour or two in the afternoon, this leaves the rest of the day free to explore.

MAGICAL. INTOXICATING. CHAOTIC

From the fascinating Khmer temples hidden in the jungle to pristine white beaches, remote hill tribes and French colonial towns, Cambodia is a hidden gem of South East Asia offering a rich cultural diversity and spectacular natural beauty.

Highlights of Cambodia are the incredibly warm and friendly people and the stunning ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat. Discover behind the scenes conservation secrets from the experts or camp out at remote temples and discover the ruins ‘Indiana Jones style’ at sunrise when you may have the ruins almost completely to yourself!

“A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE  CAMBODIAN HIGHLIGHTS”

Angkor Wat

angkorwat

"Not to be missed is the spectacular temple complex of Angkor, the heart of the old Khmer Empire and an archaeological treasure of Cambodia."

Elephant Valley Project

Elephant-Valley-Project

"The Elephant Valley Project rescues and treats domestic elephants who have suffered injury and abuse; you can help to feed, walk and wash the elephants deep in the jungle, which is a rewarding experience!"

Kep

Kep

"Enjoy fresh seafood and leisurely walks in the beach town of Kep, also a great base from which to explore the old ruins of King Sihanouk’s mansion and be greeted by the resident monkeys. Or visit Rabbit Island for swimming, fishing and snorkelling off the beautiful white beaches."
