When to Travel

Tanzania has little seasonal fluctuation in temperature however the year can be divided into two distinct wet seasons. From late March to May the long rains occur, these can last several days and so we would not advise travel during this time. The shorter rains take place during November & generally last only an hour or two each day. The remaining months are warm and dry making them perfect for travel and game viewing.

The spectacular view of the wildebeest migration into the Serengeti from the Masai Mara takes place annually during January and February and so is a particularly good time to travel, though National Parks do inevitably get busy.

ICONIC, INSPIRING, UNIQUE

With National Parks rich in wildlife, spectacular landscapes, pristine sandy beaches and traditional Masai tribes, Tanzania is a country offering a wealth of experiences to satisfy the interests of every traveller.

Tanzania can offer many great experiences, from the slopes of Kilimanjaro to the plains of the Serengeti and the beaches of Zanzibar, this diverse country has something for everyone. My fondest memory is watching lions relax with their cubs and drinking sundowners watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean
