Prize is one place for one person on Nile Cruise (EG) which is a 10 day adventure tour in Egypt provided by Explore Worldwide Ltd, plus economy class flights for the winner to join this small group adventure tour from the winner’s choice of one of the following North American gateways. New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Atlanta, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver. Approximate retail value of the prize is $2,250 USD.

 
Nile Cruise (EG) tour inclusions and itinerary will be as published at www.exploreworldwide.com . Travel must take place on a departure of Nile Cruise (EG) provided by Explore that commences in March 2011. Accommodation provided will be for one person on a twin share basis. Provider of air transportation, schedule and routing will be determined by Explore – North America at time of confirmation of travel arrangements for the winner.  The winner must have a valid passport to travel on the trip they win. Explore – North America reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value, and will announce any such change. Expenses, costs, charges and fees not specified above as being part of the Prize, including but not limited to transportation to and from the North American gateway selected, food and beverage not included in the land only cost of the tour, any fees or permits not included in the land only cost of the tour, tips or gratuities, pre or post tour hotel accommodation, incidentals, laundry, visas, travel insurance, optional activities, and anything else that is not a standard inclusion in the tour when purchased on a land only basis is not included in the prize. Any and all expenses related to goods or services that are not specifically included in the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. A credit card or cash deposit may be requested by hotels to cover incidental or optional expenses that are not included. Explore will do its best to operate the tour as published but it reserves the right to change any of the hotels, transportation, services, or itineraries described on its website at any time before or after the winner commences their trip. The prize will be awarded based on the winner understanding that they appreciate and accept the possible risks inherent in adventure travel and that they will undertake the itinerary of the prize trip under their own volition and at their own risk. If a resident of Canada is selected as a winner, they will be required to answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a timed, mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered by Explore – North America either by telephone, e-mail, mail or fax before the awarding of the prize.

First and last name, e-mail address, and complete home mailing address, home telephone number must be provided. All entries become the property of Explore – North America and will not be returned.

Entry period begins on Wednesday 22 September 2010. To qualify, entries submitted online must be received by no later than 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Time on 30 December 2010. Entries received by mail must be postmarked no later than 30 December 2010 and received no later than 10 January 2011. The number of entries received will determine the odds of winning.

Eligibility. Entrants must be at least 21 years of age on date of entry and be residents of the United States (except void in Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska and Guam) or Canada (except void in Quebec) at the time of entry. By entering participants agree to these Official Rules. Employees of Explore- North America, and Explore Worldwide Ltd. and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children) of each are not eligible to enter.

Consent. When you enter to win, we collect personally identifying information about you, including your name, mailing address, and e-mail address. By entering and providing the required registration information, you acknowledge and consent that we may send you information, or special offers we believe may be of interest to you and you acknowledge that we may use the information we collect to contact you by phone, e-mail or mail. Acceptance of the prize will constitute granting Explore – North America the right to use and publish the winner’s proper name and state or province of residence online and in print, or any other media, in conjunction with the sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Explore – North America and/or their advertising and promotional agencies to use winner’s name and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

Selection of Winner. The winner will be the one participant whose entry is randomly drawn from all eligible entries on or about 12 January 2011 subject to verification of eligibility to enter and win per these official rules and compliance with all aspects of the official rules. If a resident of Canada is selected as a potential winner, they will be required to answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a timed, mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered by Explore – North America either by telephone, e-mail, mail or fax before the awarding of the prize. If the name drawn is determined to be ineligible or disqualified for any reason, an alternate name will be randomly drawn. Alternate winners must meet all the requirements stated in these Official Rules. If no qualified winner is drawn after two alternate names have been drawn no further drawings will be made and the prize will not be awarded. The winner will be notified winner by overnight mail, which will be addressed to the address indicated on the winner's entry form. Proof of identity, age and address, residency in the U.S. or Canada, possession of a valid passport, and signing an affidavit of eligibility and release and a booking form supplied by Explore – North America indicating acceptance of the Explore Worldwide Ltd booking conditions that apply to the prize will all be required to accept and receive the prize. These documents will, along with other disclaimers, release Explore – North America and Explore Worldwide Ltd, and their officers, directors, employees and related persons, subsidiaries, agents, agencies, affiliates, promoters, and advertisers, from any and all liability related to participation in the sweepstakes and receipt and use of the prize. If such documents are not returned to Explore – North America within 7 days of receipt, or a prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or Explore-North America is unable to contact a potential winner within 7 days of date of initial notification or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited. and another random drawing from all remaining eligible entries to select an alternate winner for the applicable drawing as long as the maximum number of a total of 2 alternate winners have not already been drawn. All decisions regarding selection of winner by Explore – North America are final.

Conditions of Participation. Interpretation of these rules is at the sole discretion of Explore – North America whose decisions are final with respect to eligibility, entries, and selection of winner. Participants are not required to be present to win  All applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws apply. In the event of situations beyond its control and which compromise its ability to fairly and securely administer and operate the sweepstakes Explore – North America may terminate or suspend the sweepstakes in part or in full at its sole discretion including but not limited to situations related to computer failure, network problems, virus, worm, malware infections, corruption of database, internet connection failure or other electronic communications failure. Explore – North America is not responsible for entries that for any reason are not received or are received after the entry period has closed. No responsibility or any other liability for harm or damage to any electronic device, computer, modem, or other equipment related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes is accepted.
