Classic Explore tours are packed with inspiring and original adventures, activities and experiences. Our innovative itineraries will take you not just to the famous sights but also to little known places where you’ll feel a world away from the usual tourist haunts. The aim of our knowledgeable and adventure-loving tour leaders is to get under the skin of the country, bringing you a deeper understanding of the people, their traditions and their culture.

On Classic Explore adventures you can expect clean, comfortable mid-range hotels with twin rooms and en-suite bathrooms, but occasionally we also use guesthouses, lodges or other local accommodation depending on the itinerary. You will typically be travelling in private air-conditioned vehicles, but may also use trains, ferries, flights, local buses, four-wheel-drives, safari trucks and other types of transport suited to the terrain and distance. On these tours we include all the key sights and activities, but you’ll also have plenty of time to explore independently and to do your own thing.

Classic Explore tours are the ideal choice for travellers wanting to explore a country in depth and return home feeling inspired and enriched. You can travel in reasonable comfort but still get well beyond the usual tourist façade.
