My best holiday so far was a road trip to Croatia back in September 2012. My boyfriend and I drove to Pula to go to Outlook Festival. It took us three days each way, driving through France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and many more. I think my highlight, apart from the festival itself, was when we did a summer bobsled at Lake Bled in Slovenia, it was awesome. We saw the most beautiful sights, ate ridiculous amounts of food, drank ridiculous amounts of wine (not whilst driving of course!) and had the best time. If you can cope with discomfort, long drives and lack of sleep, but have someone for good company, I would highly recommend a good old road trip! I’d pick that over laying on a beach any day.

I am in LOVE with Barcelona. It’s such a cool city with the perfect balance of being fresh, modern and fun, but also historical and interesting. The architecture there - the beautiful Sagrada Familia and everything else by Gaudi – is simply amazing. It’s one of those places that has a really great atmosphere. The food is good, the people are lovely, and there’s so much to do that a week just isn’t long enough. A tip from me is to go to The W Hotel by the beach, get yourself up to the 26th floor to the Eclipse Sky Bar, order a Watermelon Martini and enjoy the view.

Next, I would absolutely love to go to Peru, particularly on an Inca Trail. The history behind that whole era is amazing and I would love to find out more. To learn whilst being immersed in the exact surroundings where it all happened would be incredible.
