I have been leading Explore tours since 2012. The Balkan area is stunningly beautiful, remote and surprisingly exotic. Highlights for me are the magnificent heritage, the Balkan culture, and the strong local identity of people.
Wherever I travel, food is always a highlight for me. One of the meals that I enjoy eating the most is Ratatouille, a meal that originates from the south of France. This is a simple but delicious dish with vegetables. I also like stuffed peppers and Uzice-style flatbread: a local speciality, prepared by cutting open a piece of flatbread, placing a spoonful of kajmak (similar to clotted cream) and an egg inside, mixing them together and then roasting it in a heated oven for around 10 minutes.
I am also interested in art, history, geography, music, reading, religion, culture and hiking, I love going to concerts, dancing and taking photos. I’m always keen to learn new skills so am willing to try anything new.
