Life took me into tourism and tour leading. First, I trained as a physical teacher – I started with camping and graduation trips, and then moved on to teaching outdoor activities. I taught many activities including rafting, horseback riding, and sea kayaking. With my people and language skills, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to have a go at tour leading one summer. I liked it so much that I’ve never stopped!
Outside of work I am still a very active person. I enjoy experiencing new activities and improving my skills. I enjoy cycling and swimming when is possible, catching up with friends and going for family meals. When I’m tour leading I don’t get the chance to see so much of friends and family, so it’s good to catch up when we can.
The great thing about Argentina and Chile are that because of the vast and (yet) low population areas, you have the chances to admire 360º of infinite landscape – it really is amazing. One day you can be in front of a sheer granite tower mountain, and the next in a forest or on giant glacier outlooks!
