I live in a suburb of Moscow with my wife and son, which I love because it gives us a chance to experience life beyond the city.
I started guiding in 2004 in Moscow, and enjoy it because I not only get to share the story of my country with visitors, I also like to make sure they have a great time here. This tour is ideal for those looking to experience medieval Russian culture, as we visit lots of museums and churches. Good footwear is very important, since there is quite a bit of walking involved.
When I’m not guiding during the winter months, I teach at Moscow City Teacher-training University, and in 2012 I received a PhD in American literature.
My advice to travellers? The weather changes very rapidly in Russia, so you always have to be prepared for all conditions. And get ready for new impressions! The Explore tours of Russia are breaking the stereotypes.
