I have been leading tours for Explore since December 2007, and really enjoy meeting new people and showing them my country.
I haven’t always been a tour leader. After the war ended in 1975, I went to University in Hue City where I studied English for four years. After graduating, I was sent to teach in a school in the Central Highlands for 10 years before returning to my home Province (Quang Tri), where I taught for another three semesters. In 1992 I decided to give up my teaching career to become a local DMZ tour guide, and in 2007 I became a tour leader for Explore. I now get to show people the whole of my country.
When visiting Vietnam, customers can look forward to learning all about our "long" history and culture.
In my spare time, I like reading History books either in English or in Vietnamese. I have also got a family who I spend my free time with. I live with my wife, who is a fantastic cook, and my two sons and one daughter.
