With a background as a tour leader in the Middle East and Far East, she can weave travel tales and unravel cultural gems. Having ventured far and wide, Ali has a soft spot for wildlife that rivals David Attenborough's. Gardens are her sanctuary, and you'll often find her immersed in the great outdoors rather than on a city tour.

Cycling and walking holidays are her true travel love, and she knows a lot of the hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path trails in Europe and beyond. One of her favourite travel moments was watching the Northern Lights while sitting in a hot spring in Alaska (all while sporting a mosquito head net!).
