As the fridge magnets say, the mountains are calling and I must go... Gina has lost a snowball fight at the foot of the Torres Del Paine, zigzagged across the Zambezi in a canoe, and dodged dodgy deals in the souks of Marrakech. For her, travel is all about moments you'll never forget and can only experience in person, in the moment. 

Gina loves an unusual overnight that gets her away from the standard hotel, and is known for seeking out unusual accommodation. Memorable nights include sleeping under the stars in Wadi Rum, relaxing in a riad in Essaouria's old town, and sipping steaming cuppas in Nepali teahouses. She's looking forward to her next unique sleep, a bunking down in a 7th century Buddhist temple. 

She's a keen hiker, and has been lucky enough to hike in the Himalaya, the Andes, the Alps, the Dolomites and the Picos de Europa. Recently she's discovered a love of bird watching born at her local wetlands, and when she's not abroad you can find her weekends spent here or hiking the UK's National Trails.
