Why it pays to

be a loyalist

In a world where discounts and offers seem to rule, it can feel that being loyal to a company matters less and less. But there are still big benefits to being part of the Explore loyalty club, and waiting for a 'deal' doesn't always pay.

1. Big savings all year

As a loyalist, you can book adventures on any single day of the year - and save every time. If you feel that 'need-a-holiday itch' at 3pm on a random Tuesday, there's no stopping you! You'll save according to your loyalty club level, whenever you book.

2. Have your pick of the trips

While selected trips and destinations will occasionally have discounts and offers, it won't be all of them. If there's a tour you've set your heart on, waiting for it to go into a sale can lead to disappointment.

3.... and the dates!

Often the dates that are included in a promotion have been chosen to help fill selected departures or aren't in peak season. Some dates are, unsurprisingly, very popular and need to be booked early or are unlikely to be discounted.

4. Offers are combinable

Our sales and promotions are almost always* combinable with loyalty. That means you can often maximise your saving by applying your loyalty discount on top. There'll be a ceiling for that discount, but you'll always save at least your loyalty discount on the selling price.

5. and you'll hear first

Whenever we can, we'll alert our loyalists to upcoming promotions before everyone else. You'll be first to hear of discounts, extra savings and also new trips. So you're always in the loop.

6. Book further ahead

The booking window and travel period is always predetermined for our sales. This means that usually you can't book a trip beyond the next nine or 12 months. As a loyalist, you can book more than a year out, and we'll always let you know when a new year of trips is going on sale. So if you're planning a big trip, or a holiday for a special occasion, you can book nice and early and secure the tour and date you want at a great price. And remember that once you've booked, we'll always hold the quoted price for you, even if there are fluctuations in costs between booking and travelling.

7. Make the most of airline sales and promotions

From time to time, airlines offer sales and special offers on selected destinations. Being able to book your trip (with a loyalty discount) at any time during the year, can mean you're well placed to take advantage of sporadic airline offers, which can mean very chunky savings. Make sure you've signed up to hear from your preferred airlines to learn of any upcoming promotions.

8. Climb the levels quickly, and save more

Our loyalty scheme kicks in as early as your second trip with us. Each trip you book with Explore counts towards your loyalty level, whenever you book. We'll always make sure you get the best deal available, whether that's via a promotion or by applying your loyalty discount - and either way, the trip will be credited towards your loyalty level so that you continue to get the best deal, and the biggest benefits.
