4. Patagonia Solar Eclipse
As the light slowly dims, the moon begins to veil the sun and the atmosphere is full of anticipation. Then, suddenly, the air becomes still, the birds fall silent and everything is deadly quiet as complete darkness falls over the majestic snow-capped mountains, icy glaciers and azure-blue lakes. A local astronomer shares his wisdom about the eclipse phenomenon and we fire up the parrilla for a traditional Argentinian barbecue to mark the occasion.
