As swimming is such an important feature of most family holidays, we have made sure that swimming is available every day at the hotel and in the sea. On our Dubrovnik and Croatian Island Adventure, you’ll stay in a small locally-owned guesthouse in the centre of the car-free island of Lopud. The guesthouse is within easy walking distance of the sea.
What will the food be like on a family holiday in Croatia?
Croatian food in coastal regions is influenced by Greek and Italian flavours. You’ll find plenty of pasta with tomato sauce and also pasta added to soups and stews. Seafood is popular in coastal regions and you’ll find ‘black risotto’ listed on nearly every Dalmatian menu. This seafood risotto is flavoured with squid ink and is very tasty - plus the kids will love how it turns your teeth and tongue black!
