There are plenty of options for walking in Sri Lanka, from climbing to the top of Lion Rock, ascending Adams Peak for sunrise views or trekking across Horton Plains to the dramatic ‘World’s End’, a sheer drop of more than 1000 metres. During the wet season the Kelani River offers the chance to try out whitewater rafting to get the adrenaline going.
After taking a jeep safari to search for Leopard in Yala National Park, head to the southern coast which is home to beautiful quiet beaches for some relaxation time. During the winter months it is possible to take a whale watching trip, or try your hand at snorkelling in the shallow waters.
The sheer variety available in Sri Lanka makes it the perfect location to begin your multi-active adventures.
