Wildlife Trips in Tanzania

Africa is celebrated worldwide for its exceptional wildlife, and nowhere more so than in Tanzania, considered by many to be amongst the world’s top safari destinations.

Tanzania is home to an exceptionally large concentration of mammals and offers good bird watching too. An outstanding 26% of the country is set aside to preserve its unique wildlife. Amongst the animals protected here within the national parks and conservation areas are the endangered black rhino, rondo bushbaby and African wild dog.

Tanzania’s legendary national parks include Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Mount Kilimanjaro and of course the Serengeti, which is famed as the starting point for the annual wildebeest migration when large herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle travel a perilous circuit through Tanzania and Kenya dodging predators such as lions and hungry crocodiles to be able to raise their young calves.
