What Was The Highlight Or Most Memorable Moment Of Your Tour

"I think the most exciting part was camping in the Moremi bush. Waking up the next day and identifying, using footprints, what animals had been in our camp the night before was incredible. We had elephants, hippos, hyena and lions visit us whilst we were sleeping! To come back from an eventful late afternoon game drive and then eat our evening meal in the open bush with the camp fire blazing beside us was something we will never forget."

How Was Your Explore Tour Leader

Killor was an amazing person who was an expert animal tracker. We were astounded at his knowledge and used to test him, asking if he could find different animals each day. One day lions, another giraffes, another leopards and so it went on- each time he managed to track them down using incredible skills. He looked after us all along the journey and was always great fun.

What Tips Would You Give To Someone Else Booking This Tour

I think the title of the tour Okavango adventure is very apt- there is more than enough adventure and excitement for anyone.

This trip represented a number of “firsts”.  It was the first time I had travelled with my daughter (15 yrs) rather than as part of a family. The first time either of us had visited Africa and the first time I had camped!  Botswana was a truly wonderful country with beautiful sights and people. Our local leaders were fantastic - they looked after us, educated us and entertained us with tales around the campfire. The thrill of seeing animals in the wild, experiencing the wonder of Victoria Falls and enjoying a range of accommodation from tent to lodge to hotel made this a holiday of a lifetime for us both.
