This tour is planned to coincide with Bhutan’s biggest and most spectacular Tshechu (festival). This three day event attracts thousands of people from all over Bhutan and takes place within the confines of the magnificent Tashichho Dzong monastery that dominates the skyline of Thimpu. Ideal for those who wish to immerse themselves in local culture and witness dancing monks, along with the fabulous masks and costumes of performers in the courtyard of this ancient place, amongst throngs of local Bhutanese.
