Why Book this trip
Celebrated annually in the Phobjikha Valley this one day Bhutanese Tshechu (festival) is organised to coincide with the arrival of the majestic black crane ahead of the coming winter. This tour is planned so we can take part in this unique celebration. As well as seeing masked dancers, synonymous with Tshechus in Bhutan, this festival has black crane themed performances, folk songs and handicraft stalls; and also offers the opportunity to learn about the importance of the conservation of this endangered bird within the local community.
