What was the highlight or most memorable moment of your tour?

Definitely the orang-utans both at Sepilok and in the Wild. Also the long house and walking down the river (even though I was dreading the long house) The snorkelling in Pula Tiga was good and the ad-hoc creative Cricket making again in Pula Tiga.

What was the highlight or most memorable moment of your tour?

There were so many highlights - the homestay with local families was a great experience. Seeing orang-utans in the wild, staying in beautiful locations both in the jungle or by the sea and river and some amazing sunsets.

What Was The Highlight Or Most Memorable Moment Of Your Tour

This tour has so many highlights and exceeded my expectations on many levels, perfect for energetic families looking for adventure with plenty to do or equally for those who want to take it at a slower pace, relaxing along the way. Borneo is such a diverse destination, from well-developed cities with many western influences, amazing white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters inviting you to swim or snorkel to view the colourful marine life that live near the shore, impressive tea plantations overlooking the most amazing views of Mount Kinabalu, as well as the opportunity to cruising the jungle highway deep into the rain forest where monkey's and other wildlife are always on hand to give you a warm welcome, especially the Orang utans in Sepilok - a must see. To top it all off, the final few days you get marooned on ‘Survivor Island’ a perfect end to a well balance tour.

What Tips Would You Give To Someone Else Booking This Tour

Be prepared! In a good way! The accommodation various from night to night, from 3/4 star standard hotels with pool to jungle huts on stilts, remote beach huts to an authentic long house made of bamboo sat on the side of a mountain - very intimate, but great fun. It's an amazing way to see the country and stay in some unusual locations along the way. The children loved the food, but if there is any concern many hotels do cater for western palates.

Do You Have Anything Else To Add

There are plenty of swimming opportunities throughout this tour and if you do like to snorkel there are a number of great opportunities to enjoy the world below the waves.

This was the best holiday i have ever been on, the gorgeous island at the end was paradise. Our amazing tour guide Zeno was great; he was really freindly. The orangutan sanctuary was really cool and they were really cute.

The best part was how well the kids all got on together. They were all different ages and sexes but when it's just, say 5 kids and no one else speaks their language in the whole place, age and sex go out the window.  thanks explore and thanks Zeno. (FBN -10th April 2011)
