Newcastle upon Tyne
The scenery around Cappodoccia is fantastic and this cycle tour was one of the best ways to see it. From the cycling point of view it was relaxed and safe. There were lots of stops in small villages where we would have an apple tea together with curious villagers. Our guide knew a lot about the area and about Turkish history in general and through him we got to know the area well. He took us into several caves and churches cut into the rock.
We were in a friendly group of varying ages and experience but everyone got on well together and had a lot of fun.
