The land part of the trip was very good the only recommendation would be that the tour of the cities happens before the free day to help people to make an informed choice of what to do with their spare time. Our tour guild was brilient and informative and should get a 10
The day between land and sea was a non day as we joined the boat at midday but had to stay in the city. our day bags were bigger than usual as they were over packed and heavy and so we didnt do much.
The boat was wonderful and the crew were brilliant and helped us to enjoy the trip. the trip didnt follow the trip dossier but this was fine and we all enjoyed it all the same. The tour leader on the boat trip wasn't good she left us in the cities with no maps and told us where to meet her. her knowladge of where we stopped was poor and she is the reason marked the tour leader at 7

The trip took in all of the sights and gave a good overview of the country, and the boat trips were excellent.

The particular highlight for me was the waterfalls of Krka, and swimming in one of the lagoons.

Although I did not share on the boat, I still found the cabin very small (particularly as we had high temperatures/humidity) and would not recommend sharing with someone you do not know - the space is very limited and I heard from those that did share that it was not comfortable.

The lakes national park visit was quite a long walk, not an issue in its own right however people considering this trip should be aware that it is a 13k+ walk and should have footwear and mobility suitable for this walk.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback in regards to the above Explore trip. We do clearly state in our trip notes that the cabins are small and space is limited – we appreciate that for two strangers this can be uncomfortable, but there are a limited number of rooms on the boat, which is why a single room option is not available for these nights. We’re glad to hear that there were many highlights for you regardless.

The leaders especially Lana were extremely caring and concerned that all folks on the trip were happy and safe.
The cruising section needs to with a higher end vessel. It would cost more but add immensely to the Adventure.
Overall, a great trip at an extremely economical fee.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad that overall you enjoyed your holiday in Croatia and that you were impressed with our tour leaders, but we’re sorry to hear that the vessel perhaps didn’t meet your expectations. The boat we use is family operated and is a traditional wooden sailing boat, which we feel is in keeping with Explore’s ethos of using small and family run accommodation wherever possible, so this isn’t something we’re planning on changing for this trip. I have however updated the trip notes so that the boat is described in more detail, and customers know what facilities there are on board and what to expect on their week cruising in the Adriatic.
