Highlights were the number of animals we saw, all the big 5 including numerous lions, buffalo and elephants, several leopards and one (distant) group of rhinos. Then there were cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, warthogs, zebra wildebeest and numerous gazelles. Finally we were lucky enough to see the animals crossing the Mara river under attack by crocodiles.

Advice to others: take a self-inflating 3/4 mattress, a hook to hang your torch from the loop at the top of the tent and a pillowcase to stuff with spare clothes to sleep with. Unless you're going at the height othe season, don't book the balloon trip before you go - I found everyone else went on a different trip from the one I'd already booked.

Don't forget to look at the animals rather than spend all your time trying to get yet another picture.
