The trip was fantastic - I would recommend including South Georgia to anyone planning to visit Antarctica as the scenery and wildlife are just amazing.
The crew of the Polar Pioneer were excellent. We always felt safe despite some choppy seas and the catering and housekeeping staff kept us well fed and looked after.
Gary and Robyn are brilliant expedition leaders and all staff made sure that we had as many zodiac cruises/ landings as possible.
It was a wonderful holiday to the most amazing place I've ever visited.

We were spoilt for choice - penguins, albatrosses, other birds, whales, icebergs, seascapes, landscapes and the Shackleton Walk.

You will not see everything but the longer spend looking out for wildlife the more chance you have of seeing glimpses of whales and dolphins.
