My family enjoyed the total immersion with the Atlas mountains. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the physical challenge, the wonderful food and the mountain goats.

We were pleased that Explore was environmentally sensitive eg left no rubbish, although we disappointed with the lack of regard to sewage disposal. We could have been asked to use base camp or possibly use a chemical toilet??

The trek was very good, a bit mundane at times but the guides always knew when to stop for a snack break or lunch and had it timed perfectly. The ascent on the mountain was hard as the terrain was very difficult but was accomplished by all even by the 12 year old.The guides were excellent, they judged the pace of the walk perfectly and were lovely men- very warm, genuine individuals with a good sense of humour and good with kids. They clearly loved and were very proud of their country.
