Brilliant tour with a very good mix of activities and sights. Guide was fantastic at providing information and options. Highlight was the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, just such an incredible experience and camping in the Andes watching the sun rise and set was magical.

An excellent trip entered on Cuzco and the Classic Inca Trail.
Roger's organisation and leadership was excellent providing a host of local information.
He lead us through the trail slowly and surely when necessary and took us to excellent local restaurants. The porters and cooks on the trail were first class producing wholesome food and catering for most tastes.

The tour leader, Lobo, was excellent and reallly made it for us. Parents need to train for all the steps. Highlight for me (Dad) was Machu Picchu, for the kids was the trek itself. Tips, Adults, take a walking stick and a good sleeping bag - it gets cold at night be the views are worth it. for Explore, let people know that you provide the bag for the porters to carry on the trek, we bought smaller bags with us which in the end just took up space. With the itinerary, the day in Pisca Market needs to allow more time in the market. That was the only day we all felt we were a bit rushed. Personally I would have liked more time at Morray - fascinating place. Some consideration needs to be given to the cycle tour as the country develops but the the tour leaders adapted well to make it a great experience. Overall excellent tour. Finally, thanks again to Lobo who wasknowleadgeable, appropriate and fun and understood everybody's abilities so we all enjoyed it.

Excellent, all aspects of the tour itinerary matched the description. However it would have been clearer if we were told that full bags would be transported to Ollyantambu and that we only had to 'go light' on the trek. Also it would have been clearer if we had been told kit bags would be provided.
