The vast knowledge of our Tour Leader David and the other guides.

Take suncream and mosquito/midge repellant.
Take old/used/second hand socks, t-shirts etc. These can then be left at the jungle base camp ( Trip Code PBA) for further use by locals thus cutting down on return weight.

This was a great holiday with a busy and well planned schedule in two countries. The holiday included a number of highlights. The scenery was stunning in both Bolivia and Peru and the walks we went on were really enjoyable (if challenging at times). Lake Titicaca was an amazing highlight of the trip and of course to finally reach Machu Picchu was very special. Overall, it was a super holiday.David was an excellent Tour Leader, providing us with a warm welcome to South America. He took the role seriously and provided the group with a really good service. David took care to be sure everyone was coping with the demands of the altitude and the walks. David had great, respectful relationships with all the drivers and the Tour Guides from the local operator, Condor Travel. David spoke good English and was very friendly. He was clearly experienced in his role as Tour Leader and had extensive knowledge also as a guide.
