The trip was very enjoyable, places visited exciting, accommodation was perfectly adequate and we were well led and catered for on the 4 day Inca trail. All in all the holiday was good value for money.

Everyday had a highlight. Got better and better reaching best moment with first glimpse of Machu Picchu from Sun Gate. Other great moments - seeing 7 condors gliding in Colca Canyon and overnight in Taquila Island. Don't miss these. Overall perfect intenary.

The trip was superb! We went so many places and saw and did so much. Explore did a great job of acclimating us little by little. When we got to the Inca Trail, it definitely was moderate to challenging. Most of our group were in their sixties and all completed the trek. We all bonded as a group and will be in touch with one another. Our guide was the best - so knowledgeable and he loves his country and shared that love with us. Condor Travel always was prompt and got us where we needed to be. The flat tire on the bus to Colca Canyon didn't even bother any of us. It was taken care of promptly and we went on our way. Drivers were courteous and very careful. I loved this trip!

the visit to the Uros islands and Taquile .Two and a half hour boat ride was a real delight. The basic quest house with just a candle for light ,no water ,but very clean loo down the garden and lovely food in their lovely restaurant was just enchanting in it,s simplicity.

The long days on the bus, even in the moonscape coast was really interesting as I felt we saw Peru. Not just Machu Picchu which we all know.

This tour was worth the effort of the Inca Trail.Especially if you have Hector Corillio for your tour leader.

I think you need to be reasonable fit, because it is hard going in the altitude, but doable if you are.

Our pace was good,we had time to catch our breath and drinking lots of water is the key.

Take loo roll !!

I visited Peru 30 years ago and it was wonderful to re-visit it and see that things had developed but great care has been taken to ensure the sustainability of the tourist pressure. Machu Picchu was definitely the highlight but the adventure of getting there via the Inca Trail enhanced the experience.Jorge was a fantastic guide. Exuding knowledge for his surroundings and carefully guiding us through the difficulties of high altitude walking. He was thoughful, engaging and efficient and certainly added to the experience.
