No thanks. It was a miserable trip.

Hi Jamie, I was sorry to hear that you had an uneven fitness dynamic within your group. As you can appreciate we are obliged to take the customer’s word on the matter of fitness or health. It is upsetting when your fellow travellers have a level of fitness which causes an impact on the group as a whole. We do appreciate your feedback and we understand how this behaviour had such an effect on your experience – especially as this was a moderately graded departure.

The scenery was magnificent, the sense of achievement was great, the accommodation varied and Isi, the tour guide, made the trip - he was excellent.ok

Brigg, Lincolnshire
Helpful when asked to rearrange travel from a more northerly airport than London. Good choice of hotels. Cycles were of good quality.

Sacramento, California
This was my first cycling trip in Europe, so I didn't know quite what to expect. The mix of culture, cuisine, nature, and cameraderie was ideal. Our peerless guide, Issy, kept the fit, "the heroes," and the not so fit, "the clever," challenged, yet in touch with each other for sightseeing, breaks, meals, and drinks.

This was a very nice group of people--eight Brits, two Aussies, our Catalan guide, and my Californian self. The pace was just about right, though I found the climbing challenging. Next time, I would do a bit more hill training. Also, if you are using the sturdy German hybrids we rode, remember to lock down the front shock absorber when you are climbing. This will give you more torque.

The Galician countryside is spectacular, and you are in touch with it. The hotels are clean and hospitable. The local food and drink are hearty and reasonably priced. I would recommend the ternera (veal) and the pulpo (octopus), as well as the local wine

I have been a serious traveller for over thirty years, and I have to say that this is one of the best trips I've ever taken. I'm in training now for the London-Paris cycle this May.

Freewheeling down long sweeps of empty roads off the mountains - magic!

Sharing the arrival into Santiago with walkers, other cyclists and pilgrims was really special.

Beautiful and uncluttered countryside, with many villages along the way. The Camino trail gives the trip an extra dimension and charm
