Overall I would recommend this trip, although it was not much of an adventure, since the guides and tour reps,(of which there were several), seemed to think we did not want too much contact with India other than the 'sights' and the hotels. The organisation was efficient: we packed a lot into the time. The guides were knowledgeable , albeit rather 'bossy'. The Maidens hotel and Shahpura house were great (like most hotels used by this company, they were on the edge of town): the Howard plaza in Agra was pretty awful. Highlight has to be the Taj Mahal: so pretty and symmetrical, even in a sandstorm. Tips would include, not trying to catch an international flight from Jaipur airport, taking a bath plug, and probably not travelling in May!

Excellent and attentive tour guides as well as the fantastic driver. Great hotels (only one of four was a little less impressive). Very well organised and hassle free. We will use Explore again in the future.

Thank you for a fab and ungorgettable trip, Explore!
