Please review your overall experience and what your highlights were

A wonderful holiday cycling in Vietnam. Excellent tour guide & support team. Our group of 15 got on really well together and had lots of fun along the way. We loved exploring HCM City, staying at the Asian Ruby Hotel (best breakfast ever) and finding local restaurants with great food such as Mon Hue and Luong Son Quan. Enjoyed cycling backroads in the Mekong Delta and off the beaten track through rice fields and villages, met lots of nice people. The three sets of 10km uphill were challenging but strangely rewarding (looking back). Fantastic 30km downhill followed one day’s long climb. Fabulous snorkelling off the boat in Nha Trang. Loved Hoi An, especially the market, the cookery course, eEating Cao Lau at a market stall and having a cashmere and wool suit made to measure in under 10 hours. Three wonderful swims – 2 deserted beaches and one river.

This was my first cycling holiday and I am really hooked. It is a great way to see a country. We were so well looked after. It was very hot, and some of the cycling quite a challenge, but a great feeling of achievement when we made it to the top. Vietnam is a fascinating place. The war still hangs over it but the people are welcoming and the food is lovely. One of the highlights was Hoi-an, a pretty place with great restaurants and you can have some clothes run up in no time. Another was seeing the farmland and waterways of the Mekong Delta. The cruise around Ha Long was short but beautiful and the boat excellent. Sadly we didn't see Hanoi in the sunshine and there wasn't much time to explore the city. But you can't do it all.

Please Review Your Overall Experience And What Your Highlights Were

The warmth of Saigon in winter, the lush mangroves of the Mekong Delta, the infinite beaches and costal roads above Nha Trang, the placid serenity of the Perfume River in Hue, the green reflections of the light in the Bay of Halong, the relics of the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in the History Museum of Hanoi, the pho soup with minced beef and the cold coffee with ice.

What was the highlight or most memorable moment of your tour?

The people, so pleased to see you, so welcoming, so interested in you. The bonkers traffic, never bored of watching bizarre manoeuvres.

Fantastic trip

What was the highlight or most memorable moment of your tour?

The most memorable moment was getting to the top of the Hai Pan pass, along with swimming on XMAS day and New Years Eve and surviving the wettest XMAS Eve climbing up to 1650m above sea level and surviving!! Great fun and great achievements

Fascinating, challenging, stimulating  and good fun

What was the highlight or most memorable moment of your tour?

Truly feeling like a local drinking bia hoi sitting on tiny plastic chairs in a gutter on a busy intersection in Hanoi with our smiling guide!

An authentic Vietnamese tour of the country with some leg work thrown in!

Great holiday. Well organised, no annoying surprises, just impressed with every aspect including wonderful guide, Thinh. Lucky to have a great group of 14 who completed the total enjoyment of experiencing Vietnam - not from a 5 star hotel which is similar to watching on TV, but from getting off the usual tourist trails as well as experiencing tourist must sees like Halong Bay & Hanoi's old quarter. The mixture of hotels, trains, cycling in cities & scenic countryside , while sharing with a group of like minded strangers is extremely enjoyable and I would heartily recommend.
