Explore scores five stars for Customer Services, Tour Guides and Organisation
We were specifically commended for being consistently successful in Which? surveys – with this year’s customer score an amazing 89%. The Which? survey also revealed that people chose Explore because our holidays ‘suit people like me’ and are ‘off the beaten track’. In fact – Which? added that our customers are more likely to be ‘loyal devotees’ as 88% of survey respondents who had travelled with us were repeat customers.
We were also commended for the accuracy of our holiday descriptions both in our brochure and on our website. Which? commented this was surprising considering how complex our itineraries can be.
Top Tour Leaders
As Which? recognised, we're no strangers to doing well in their travel survey. In the last survey our Tour Leaders were voted the best in the industry and we're proud for them to have once again been given five star status this time around. This result reflects the fact that Explore Tour Leader Diego Torres was voted the worlds best tour leader by Wanderlust magazine.
Convenience, Deals and Financial Protection
The survey overall revealed that although British consumers are finding it increasingly easy to put their own packages together online, Which? members still chose to book through a tour operator like us, as they believe it is more convenient and they can get better deals as well as financial protection.
We are thrilled to have scored so well in this report, as it is an independent survey voted for by the travelling public, which means it is a true reflection of how our customers see us. It also confirms our own customer survey results which means we have definitely been working on the right areas.
