Easy Cycling Holidays

Easy Cycling Holidays

Check out our choice of easy cycling holidays for first timers keen to experience the world from the saddle.

Perhaps inspired by the cycling success at the 2012 Olympics and the Tour de France, cycling is fast becoming one of the UK’s most popular pastimes.

On sunny weekends country lanes are a magnet for legions of passionate pedallers, all clad in an astonishing array of brightly coloured lycra and matching helmets. Whizzing along on two wheels is a great way of enjoying the great outdoors; fast enough to cover a decent amount of ground but slow enough to have time to enjoy the passing scenery and stop to admire points of interest.

If wheeling at the weekends has inspired you to venture a little further, you might be considering embarking on your first cycling holiday. However, in the knowledge that not everyone is a budding Bradley Wiggins or Victoria Pendleton, you might understandably be a little nervous about going on your first trip. With this in mind, we have a selection of easier trips which are perfect for first-timers or those who prefer a more relaxed pace on easier terrain.
