Explore Polar Evening

Discover more about the fascinating Arctic and Antarctica regions and meet members of our polar team at a very special evening dedicated to Polar Voyages.

Held at London's Royal Geographical Society on Wednesday 3rd May 2017, the Explore polar evening will include talks by a guest speaker from one of our most popular ships - The Expedition. There will also be the chance to put your questions to our panel of polar experts which will include our guest speaker, past polar travellers and members of the Explore polar team.

Where: Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London, SW7 2AR.
When: Wednesday 3rd May 2017 - doors open at 6:45pm, presentation starts at 7:15pm.

Our guest speaker - Kevin Morgan BSc, MSc, MIEEM, CIBiol

Kevin Morgan Polar Event Speaker
Kevin is a marine naturalist, a chartered biologist and a member of the Society of Biology. Drawing on his extensive knowledge and experience, he regularly gives talks and presentations about the natural world which so fascinates him. Kevin has led whale-watching trips, worked as a polar bear guide in Svalbard and Greenland and has been The Expedition’s naturalist for many years.

Getting to the venue
The Royal Geographical Society is located next to Hyde Park in Kensington, at the junction of Exhibition Road and Kensington Gore. Nearest tube stations are South Kensington, Knightsbridge and Lancaster Gate. Entry to the event is through the Kensington Gore entrance.
