Explore Tailormade adds more destinations to new brochure
Explore Tailormade’s new brochure has launched with the introduction of five new destinations. Burma, Costa Rica, Morocco, Zambia and Malawi all make their debut as part of a collection that has seen huge growth since its relaunch a year and a half ago. The brand, which specialises in making authentic tailor-made travel accessible to a wide audience, also now benefits from an expanded team of specialists and some significant price reductions on a number of its tours. What’s more, customers booking by 31st December can benefit from a £75 discount on any Tailormade holiday.*
Remaining true to Explore’s pioneering ethos, Explore Tailormade is ideally suited to travellers who want to get under the skin of a country. It offers a huge and varied range of accommodation and transport options, meaning that itineraries can be put together to suit any budget. Each sample itinerary in the brochure gives a guide price for ‘Authentic’, ‘Comfort’ and ‘Indulge’ accommodation – providing customers with a benchmark of how much their trip will cost them, depending on budget.
Following the phenomenal success of Explore’s reintroduction of Burma in 2011, the small groups specialist has struggled to satisfy demand, despite adding extra tours. As a result, Explore Tailormade’s entry into the enigmatic country is expected to prove popular. As with small group holidays, each tailor-made itinerary will be carefully planned so as not to use services owned by or affiliated with the government, while interaction with the Burmese people is maximised. As a sample itinerary, a 14-day Highlights of Burma trip takes-in the ‘must-sees’ of Bagan, Inle Lake and Mandalay. Time is spent trekking in the hills and meeting with local people. Wildlife and adventure-lovers will welcome Costa Rica’s inclusion in the new brochure, especially in consideration of its exceptional value for money. A 15-day suggested itinerary taking-in the highlights of this biodiverse country costs from just £1,795 per person for ‘authentic’ accommodation, to include flights, accommodation, transport and guides. This includes visits to Poas and Arenal Volcanoes, Manuel Antonio and Tortuguero National Parks and Monteverde Cloud Forest. Highlights include boat trips in search of wildlife, chilling out in hot springs and the option to zip-wire through thick rainforest. For upgraded accommodation, the itinerary costs from £1,945 for ‘Comfort’ and £2,495 for ‘Indulge’ hotels.
Explore Tailormade recognises the importance of achieving value for money for its customers and it is to this end that it has negotiated hard with suppliers. Efforts have paid off with some significant price reductions. For example, trips to Jordan have been reduced by up to £290, while India holidays are benefiting from savings of up to £800.
